Cassie Freed was born in Rapid City, South Dakota and raised in the Colorado Rockies in a nondenominational Christian family. 

She attended a nondenominational classical high school. After attending Colorado Christian University in Lakewood, Colorado from 2019-2023, she moved to Miller, South Dakota to teach at a nondenominational k-12 private school. Here, Cassie began exploring the Catholic faith through books and podcast and eventually entered the church in May of 2026.

Cassie enjoys reading in any genre, crocheting stuffed animals, and baking. Her confirmation saint is St. Terese of Lisieux, and St. John Henry Newman is another favorite.
