The Cost of a Chesterton Education

CANU is committed to providing an outstanding education at a price point affordable for families. We make the commitment to eliminate finances as an impediment, and every CANU family makes a commitment individually and with the community to help the school maintain that reality through donations of time, talent, and treasure. This allows us to incur much of the real cost of the education ourselves (30-40% more than full tuition) and at 20-30% lower than many of the surrounding private schools.

  • Tuition: $7800 for our 2023-24 Academic Year.

Other: $500 Additional fees which include books, house t-shirt, and Gala ticket for student.

Additional: Families are responsible for student uniforms, choir attire, and general school supplies.
    - Uniforms ~$300
    - Gents choir attire $125
    - Ladies choir attire $75

  • We as a school balance the costs of our overhead to run a school with an appropriate tuition to expect from families, but we recognize that for some, it is still not enough. Through the support of donors, scholarships, and the potential to utilize Utah-Fits-All, we are in a position to eliminate many finance-related barriers for attendance.

In our “Admissions Steps” page, you can fill out our Financial Aid request form and pre-apply for the Utah Fits All Scholarship.

  • Chesterton Academy of Northern Utah admits students of any race, color, national origin, and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.
